Our Story

We, GSBA Builders Private Limited, one of the leading, experienced and reputed construction companies in North India engaged in the field of Civil Construction works for more than nine decades. We have successfully completed many prestigious projects such as Hotels, Institutional Buildings, Hospitals, Industrial Buildings, Bungalows, Farm Houses, Residential Units (Floors / Villas), Group Housings, Commercial Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Embassies, Government Offices and Malls etc.

We, M/s. GSBA Builders Private Limited, (formerly known as M/s. Gurbakhsh Singh B.A. Builders Pvt. Ltd.), one of the leading, experienced and reputed construction companies in North India engaged in the field of Civil Construction works for more than nine decades was founded by visionary Sardar Gurbakhsh Singh in 1923 with the core competency of high quality contractual building construction.  

His earlier works include part of Viceroy’s Lodge (Rashtrapati Bhavan), Willingdon Hospital (original building) which was build as a Government School and large parts of Housing in Gole Market area. He later started working with Architects for private buildings. He worked with M/s. C.G. & F.B. Blomfield, M/s Walter George and M/s Bentley & King. Also the company constructed commercial and institutional buildings such as Alliance Bank of Shimla Chandni Chowk, State Bank Buildings at Delhi, Bareilly, Amritsar and Sialkot, St. Stephen’s College Delhi and Mohan Meakan’s Brewery at Solan etc. Other well known buildings constructed were Royal Netherland Embassy, French Embassy, UK High Commission and Danish Legislation etc. Also some of the highly reputed business houses like G.D. Birla, Somany’s and Goenka’s placed their trust in him for their construction works.

Dr. Mohinder Singh, the son of Sardar Gurbakhsh Singh, led the era of rapid growth for the company after independence. He was a highly qualified Civil Engineer with a Doctorate in Construction Management from Delft University, The Netherlands. His passion to innovate new techniques has been ingrained in the cultural fabric of the company. The company was and continues to be involved in quality construction of buildings such as Embassies, Institutional Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Government Offices, Commercial Buildings, Multi-Storey Towers, Hospitals, Hotels, Malls, Highly Finished Houses, Farm Houses, Residential Units (Floors/Villas), Group Housings and other Turn-Key projects. The legacy of innovative, challenging and high quality building construction is continuing even after the sad demise of Dr. Mohinder Singh ji in 2006.
